Cloud hosting makes applications and websites accessible using cloud resources. Unlike traditional hosting, solutions are not deployed on a single server. Instead, a network of connected virtual and physical cloud servers hosts the application or website, ensuring greater flexibility and scalability.
Services Based on Cloud Deployment:
- Public Cloud. Users over the internet use cloud services in which the infrastructure is based on the cloud computing company.
- Private Cloud. The cloud infrastructure is located inside the organization, and it is not shared with anyone without the permission of the organization is called the private cloud.
- Hybrid Cloud. The combination of private and public cloud deployments is called the hybrid cloud.
- Community Cloud. The deployment model provided for a limited number of individuals and organizations so that the services are enjoyed only within themselves are called community cloud.
Key features:
- 1. Applications and solutions are deployed on a cloud network rather than an on-premises, single server.
- 2. Resources scale to user needs.
- 3. Organizations only pay for the resources they use.
- 4. Cloud hosting can support SQL (including MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
- 5. Solutions are automated and controlled using APIs, web portals, and mobile apps.
