Tom Fuhrman is the founder and president of VECTORmv LLC, a cybersecurity, blockchain, and cryptocurrency consulting company. As an executive consultant he helps clients address challenges in technology strategy and policy, governance, and the enterprise management of risk. His previous roles in consulting include managing director of cybersecurity risk consulting with insurance brokerage Marsh USA, president of cybersecurity consultancy Delta Risk, and senior vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fuhrman served as a member of the staff of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), where he focused on national priorities for science and technology and National Security and Emergency Preparedness.
He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics from Purdue University, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State University. Tom is one of the leaders of the Shared Assessments Emerging Technology Committee.
