James Lindstrom is CEO of ECI, which brought together the Ethics & Compliance Initiative, founded in 1922, and Compliance Week, the industry-leading publication for compliance professionals. ECI serves more than 10,000 risk and compliance professionals representing 700 organizations through research, benchmarking, certification, training and events, with a growing focus on AI governance and third-party AI risk. ECI is part of Verdian Insights, the platform James founded in 2021.
James speaks regularly on AI governance and AI risk, including how organizations should govern the AI used by their vendors and suppliers. Earlier, he was a director, CEO and CFO of multiple listed companies in financial, healthcare, government and infrastructure services. He began his career at Credit Suisse and holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
