Munish Walther-Puri is a Principal and Head of Critical Digital Infrastructure at TPO Group and faculty member at IANS Research, where he translates the complex intersection of cyber, geopolitical, and supply chain risks into actionable resilience strategies. His core expertise spans advanced cyber strategy, technology supply chain risks, critical infrastructure dependencies, and emerging threats like AI security and identity deception. Munish’s career is defined by a blend of public and private sector experience, including serving as the first Director of Cyber Risk for the City of New York, leading global intelligence teams in dark web monitoring, and advising startups and think tanks. He is known for a practical, forward-looking approach that emphasizes resilience, trust, and collaborative strategies across public and private sectors. Specifically, Munish has pioneered efforts in areas such as developing a "Richter scale" for critical infrastructure cyber incidents, mapping the supply chain of AI, advancing state and local cyber resilience, and strengthening open source software security.
