Phoebe Kao

Phoebe is a seasoned executive with risk and compliance experience spanning across financial services industry and technology. She’s a keynote speaker on subjects related to cloud risk, data governance, and privacy, as well as guest lecturer at Columbia University Master for Risk Management. At Microsoft, she is a thought leader in risk, compliance, and governance specialized in banking and capital market sectors. She leads a “FSI Trust” team of compliance engineers in guiding customers along their cloud journey compliantly and securely with various Microsoft compliance security solutions. Prior to Microsoft, Phoebe has 20 years of experience on Wall Street, holding various executive leadership roles in Wells Fargo, JPMorgan, and Citigroup. Her expertise covers Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC), regulatory landscape, policies and procedures. She holds a Master degree in Risk Management from New York University (NYU) and a Bachelor degree in Statistics.
