Susan Brindle

Susan Brindle is the Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management for F&G, where she is responsible for leading enterprise sourcing and vendor management functions that optimize organizational value while mitigating risk. She established the Strategic Sourcing department from the ground up and expanded the Vendor Management function after its first year of operation, building both into mature, high-performing organizations. With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and extensive contract management expertise, Susan brings unique value to the vendor management function and is integral in developing and implementing vendor performance management frameworks, overseeing vendor risk assessments and due diligence processes and establishing vendor governance plans for strategic suppliers. She is both skilled in and passionate about navigating complex contractual landscapes, ensuring favorable terms, managing vendor relationships throughout their lifecycle and cultivating the next generation of sourcing and vendor management professionals. Susan is originally from Iowa and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Drake University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Simpson College.
