Ana Dutra is an experienced CEO, Business Advisor and Corporate Board Director of publicly traded, family-owned and private corporations. A Latina with 30+ years of experience in brand building, P&L management, deals structuring, ESG, digital technology, business growth and C-Level business advisory in 25 countries, Ana is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. She has deep experience in Corporate Governance, ESG, digital technology, e-commerce and ERP systems. She holds a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Directorship Certification, a CERT Certification in Cybersecurity Oversight by Carnegie Mellon University and NACD and a Diligent ESG Leadership Certification. She is a Subject Matter Expert in examination development activities for the NACD Directorship Certification®.
As a CEO, Ana has led several global and cross-border acquisitions, joint-ventures, partnership agreements and M&A integrations. In her own tenure as CEO, proxy Officer and P&L leader with companies such as IBM, CSC, Marsh & McLennan, Accenture and Korn/ Ferry International, Ana created several $500+ MM global business through the combination of organic growth, global acquisitions and joint-ventures, innovative go-to-market approaches and incorporation of technology and digital transformation of services and products. As CEO of Korn Ferry Consulting, Ana led the global the Board Effectiveness practice.
Ana serves as Director on the Boards of the CME Group (NASDAQ: CME), the largest global fin-tech futures exchange; Carparts.com (NASDAQ: PRTS); Amyris (NASDAQ: AMRS), a synthetic biotech company and Pembina Pipeline (NYSE: PBA). She serves on the Board of the Latino Corporate Directors Association and Chairs its Educational Foundation Board.
Ana holds an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern University, a Masters in Economics from Pontificia Universidade do Rio de Janeiro, a Juris Doctor from Federal Universidade of Rio de Janeiro, all summa cum laude. She is a visiting lecturer at Kellogg, Booth, Goizueta and other Executive MBA programs as well as a frequent speaker in ESG, Board and corporate Governance, global growth strategies, leadership, culture and innovation issues at the Global Competitiveness Forum, World Economic Forum and other Global Conferences. She is frequently featured in the Harvard Business Review online, Forbes, WSJ, Chief Executive Magazine and was the guest editor of the Best of the Boardroom issue of Hispanic Executive magazine. Ana was awarded the Chicago United Business Leader of Color, Nueva Estrella Latina, SHEroes Global Role Model, Women in History and other Business Awards. She is the best selling author of Lessons in LeadershiT: detoxing the Workplace.
Ana is a proud mother of three daughters and an avid triathlete, tennis player and yoga practitioner, She lives in Florida with her husband and their three rescue dogs.
