Operational resilience is the ability of an organization to prepare, respond, and adapt to operational disruptions to survive and prosper (sentence based on BS 65000:2014). Good business continuity planning an essential element in building operational resilience.



Disaster recovery refers to an organization’s plans for addressing catastrophic events, such as a natural disaster, fire, act of terror, active shooter, or cybercrime. Disaster recovery involves the measures an organization must take to respond to an event and return to safe, normal operation as quickly as possible commonly referred to as business as usual (BAU).
