Under CCPA, the term personal information is interchangeable with Personally Identifiable Information (PII). In the context of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), personal information is: “information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer.” A synonym with Personal Data (GDPR).
